On Friday I had a practice ride on jax and we mostly worked on using my seat to canter. Also worked on a relaxed but forward sitting trot.

I had a lesson on Quincy and we worked on our canter transitions.

Practice ride 4/4/13

I had a practice ride on fievel. It was so disastrous for the first ten minutes until I realized that his nose band was over the right cheek piece! Whoops! After i fixed that he was like a completely different horse and we had a really good ride. Such a confidence boost!

Lesson 4/3

Today I had a lesson on Quincey. I struggled to keep my leg off of him and using my seat to make him go. I thought practicing my test was going to be a mess but it turned out better than I thought! He was very tolerant of me ;P

I had a lesson on Maj last Friday. We worked on standing still on our centerline halts for the most part.

Today I had a practice ride on Joey. He was a little pokey in the beginning but then got really worked up by the end. We had some really good walk to canter transitions and we worked on counter canter a little bit. Our down transitions definitely needed some work!

My lesson was on Riley today, we were pretty backwards in the beginning but towards the end I could catch it faster. I'm sitting in class right now with his fur all over me and my desk 😜yay spring

I had a practice ride on Jax tonight. He seemed a little stiff from spring shots so we took it easy. And wow he is shedding!!!

I rode Jax in a lesson today. He was way more fun than I expected. We practiced our test and jumped a little bit at the end! Happy spring break

2/28/13

I rode Majik today for a practice ride and did a million and a half centerline halt to trot transitions. I also practiced Intro C test and training 1.

2/23/13 Lesson

I had a lesson on Maj today and we practiced our lower training tests- training 1 and intro C. I need to work on my geometry!

Practice ride 2/21/13

I had a practice ride tonight on Maj. He was awesome as usual we did some shoulder in, haunches in, turn on the haunches, simple changes and counter canter!
